Why Our Pub is Great
Our perfect location on the southern tip of the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty makes The Conquerors March a wonderful place to eat out in Hastings. Whether you’re looking for a quiet pub meal served with a little extra flair, or a mouth-watering Sunday lunch with all the trimmings, our restaurant-style service and relaxed pub atmosphere are the ideal combination.
The centrepiece of our pub is our rotisserie oven, which slowly flame roasts freshly-prepared birds daily. Choose your chicken with traditional or modern sauces and accompaniments. We care where our ingredients come from, so all our fish is responsibly sourced and served . Finally, our dessert menu boasts comfort food, with both traditional and modern options.
About Our Food
Our food is freshly prepared onsite using ethically-sourced ingredients; like our Red Tractor farm-assured chicken, our responsibly-fished cod and haddock and the langoustine tails in our golden Whitby scampi that are fished in UK waters.
We believe that restaurant-style dining doesn’t have to be restricted to a formal atmosphere. That’s why you’ll find fine British pub food on our menu, elevated by the use of excellent ingredients and unusual sides. At a Marston’s Rotisserie pub, you’ll get quality renditions of the best pies, burgers, steaks and curries as well as our signature rotisserie chicken. You’ll also find exclusive dishes created by our chefs in our annual Chef of the Year competition.View our Menus
